Set the oven’s temperature to 180°C (350°F). Coat a loaf pan with flour and grease. Beat 200g of butter and 200g of sugar in a bowl until frothy. Add 1 tsp vanilla essence and 4 eggs, one at a time. Add a pinch of salt, 1 tsp baking powder, and 250g of flour and sift. After thoroughly mixing, separate the batter into two bowls. To one portion, add two tablespoons of cocoa powder and stir. To create the marble effect, alternately pour spoonfuls of both batters into the pan and swirl with a knife. A toothpick should come out clean after 40 to 45 minutes of baking. Slice, cool, and savor!
